PHT Precision Planetary Gearbox

PHT Planetary Gearbox is a mechanical device consisting of sun gear, planet gears, planet gear carrier and a ring gear. The sun gear is located at the centre that transmits torque to the planet gears orbiting around the sun gear which are located inside the ring gear.

Multi-stages planetary gearboxes are available by connecting the individual stage in sequence. With a multi-stage gear unit combination the individual stages are sized to the torque requirement. Custom configurations are available on request.

A planetary gearbox is a gear system utilized to increase the output torque and reduce load inertia while slowing down the speed. A gearbox provides speed and torque conversions from a rotating power source to another device using gear ratio.

They are available in 8 frames sizes with in-line, right angle and turntable types 4 different backlash classes from <1 to 12 arc min.

They are used in various situations such as precise machine tools and anywhere else in mechanical equipment.

PHT Gear Rack & Pinions

A rack and pinion (wheel gear) is a type of linear actuator that comprises a pair of gears which convert rotational motion into linear motion (reciprocating motion). A circular called “Pinion”, and the engaged teeth on a linear gear bar called “Rack”. Rotational motion applied to the pinion causes the rack to move, thereby, translating the rotational motion of the pinion into the linear motion of the rack.

PHT Hollow Rotating Platform

This series (Hollow Rotary Platform, HRP) uses a hollow rotating work platform. Large disk equipment or robotic arms can be directly installed on the rotating disk. It has excellent accuracy and its compact structure design allows its installation in any position. It is widely used in sliding tables and mechanism with the need of hollow pipelines. It is suitable for applications in manufacturing, inspection, positioning, research, tracking and medical equipment. Servo motors or stepping motors can be selected based on the application requirements.
